Sign up for NTHS and become a member HERE
Our BPA chapter registers members for National Technical Honors Society. NTHS is an Honors Society for technologically involved students. Here at Lake City BPA, we are all working and competing in various technical events and classes. This is why we like to open registration for those who qualify to all local BPA members. I'll explain a little bit about the club...
National Technical Honors Society is the acknowledged leader in the recognition of outstanding student achievement in career and technical education. There are many rewards to being a member, such as:
- Scholarships totaling $90,000+
- Letters of recommendation
- Looks great on a college/ job application
- Fun leadership/ teambuilding activities
===> All members are encouraged, however we especially want all of our Seniors and Juniors to sign up because of these amazing benefits! Membership lasts for a full year, and once registered, a member does not need to do anything to maintain that membership. Once the dues are paid (see requirements below), all benefits listed above are available.
Requirements to be a member are as follows:
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- An Executive level Torch Award (10 points in each category)
- Competition in TWO events at the Regional BPA conference
- A $25 Membership fee
IF you qualify, please follow the link at the top of the page to sign-up.
Please sign up by February 1st!
