0100 - ADAPTIVE SKILLS for the VISUALLY IMPAIRED 2 Credits/2 Semesters
A course for visually impaired students designed to enhance performance in regular education courses. Skills taught include: Braille; slate and stylus; listening and note taking; organization techniques; signature signing; and use of specialized equipment for the visually impaired.
0103 - C.O.P.E. 2 Credits/2 Semesters
The Coeur d'Alene Occupational Pre-Vocational Education Program deals with the practical application of reading and written language skills necessary for situations in daily life and in the world of work. The focus is to provide "hands on" experiences in areas such as problem solving, interpersonal communication and vocational development.
0200 - FUNCTIONAL MATH 2 Credits/2 Semesters
This course is the application of basic math skills to daily living situations.
0300 - LIFE 2 Credits/2 Semesters
This is a functionally oriented program. Emphasis is on development and acquisition of skills necessary to operate independently at home, school, and in the community.
0701 - COMMUNITY EXPERIENCE/WORKSITE 2 Credits/2 Semesters
A community based, functionally oriented, vocational program. Emphasis is on development and acquisition of skills necessary to maintain employment in the community.
0901 - STUDY LAB 2 Credits/2 Semesters
A course designed as a resource to support and maintain enrollment in regular classes.
